Holiday Screenprinting

Sick and tired of buying the same old bags, cards, and wrapping paper from the store? Want to do some screenprinting this holiday season? Then this workshop is for you! Join artist and Cat Head Press director Liz Wierzbicki on December 9th and 10th to design and screen print your own gift wrapping set at this year's Holiday Screenprinting Workshop. Participants will sign up for a 2 hour time slot and work one-on-one with Liz to design and print wrapping paper, 10 gift bags, 10 gift tags and 10 cards. Opening Reception: “note to self” prints, drawings, etc by nathaniel russell

Friday, December 7th 5-9pm

Opening reception of the exhibition "Note to Self". Prints, drawings, etc by artist, Nathaniel Russell. Russell's work will be up in the Middle Space Gallery through the month of December.

Nathaniel Russell was born and raised in Indiana. After college, Russell spent several years in the San Francisco Bay Area making posters, record covers, and woodcuts. He returned to his home city of Indianapolis and now spends his time creating drawings, fake fliers, sculptures, cut-outs, and music. Russell’s work is regularly shown all over the world in both traditional galleries and informal spaces, usually surrounded by an expanding list of friends, collaborators, and like-minded artists. His illustration and commercial work can be seen across album covers, on skateboards, in The New York Times and independent publications both local and international.
